Michael Ruder graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He then moved to Chicago, Illinois, where he received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He was admitted to practice law in Illinois, where he worked primarily in personal injury law, both for plaintiff and defense. He also has experience in various other matters, including medical malpractice, criminal law, immigration law, and family law. He relocated to the Atlanta area in early 2020 after being admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia. His primary focus is plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation.

While at Mercer, Anthony was the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, Captain of the Arbitration Competition Team, and was an Assistant Coach for the Mercer University baseball program. At Kenneth S. Nugent P.C. Anthony’s focus is personal injury litigation and medical malpractice.

Prior to joining Kenneth S. Nugent, P.C. Anthony worked as the campaign manager for the successful re-election bid for Georgia House Representative and the Head of the Georgia House Judiciary Committee. Anthony also worked in the sports industry in player representation, specifically baseball and now owns a family business in the Marine industry.
